What do you recommend in order to use Belegenza on type 4 hair?

Keep in mind, that Belegenza’s specialty is dealing with the actual structure of human hair of any texture and type. Once the core is dealt with, then Belegenza fine tunes the hair according to environment and personal styling needs!
Should the hair be wet?
Belegenza: In most cases, yet.
Although, Encore is a curl definer that has been discovered as leave-in ( on wet ) and then afterward (on dry) to refine the curls on non – shampoo days.
For how long should the hair be under a heat cap for one hour?
Belegenza: We’re assuming this is regarding Simply Smooth. We would try 15 minutes the first time to get a sense of how much curl loosening it may be for your specific hair and your expectations. You can add more time, or 15 minutes at a time to get your desired curl control. As far as conditioning, heat is not necessary for the Romance. “Swelling” the hair with heat is not necessary, as the molecules that make the difference are super small and get into the hair without having to swell the hair with heat. ( Heat is NOT always useful and is completely overused. Each time the hair is swollen with wet heat, it’s stretching the cuticle back and forth adding more damage in most cases. Will it work to straighten the hair leaving the product in or should I wash the straightener out?
Belegenza: It is most effective at smoothing the hair when it’s wet. You can leave it in, as it is also a styling product. If you use more than your hair needs, it may seem heavy, and you can of course, rinse it out. It’s based on the product Taffy, which is a styling product WITHOUT the smoothing capability.
