Menopause Hair Loss: 3 Key Ingredients Hair Growth Oils Must Have

Intro

Menopause is a biological process that all women will eventually go through.
Probably, with all of the research you’ve already done, you realize that it is a complex issue.

With all of the information out there it can be overwhelming and frustrating to sift through it all.

Of course, stressing about it can just lead to more hair loss….yikes!

We understand your frustration, and we are here to help you navigate through it all.

Continue reading to find out the three key ingredients that hair growth oils must have.

Menopause Hair Loss: 3 Key Ingredients Hair Growth Oils Must Have

1. Proven Penetrating Oils: Oils come in different molecular sizes and it’s important that the oils used are small enough to penetrate into the hair.
If the oils used are too large, they won’t penetrate the hair and cause problems for your hair, scalp, and follicles.
Though trusted by cultures forever, oils like coconut, olive, argan, etc., may have styling merit by adding a “feeling” of moisture and shine on the surface of the hair strand, it doesn’t go into the hair.

Unfortunately, their molecular weight is too large to penetrate most damage sites of the hair. For example, though shea butter is often heralded, it’s molecularly too large.

So, in certain situations, the slippery feel will at least allow combs and brushes to slide through a bit easier but has very little to do with strengthening or moisturizing the interior core of the hair.

The heaviness of the hair is due to its inability to absorb the heavy oils into the hair strand or follicle. This then causes all sorts of short and long-term problems with hair growth, simple styling ability, and longevity of follicles and hair growth.

Heavy oils don’t add moisture to the hair, though plenty of people will argue, typically with dry hair with a lot of oil in it.

In fact, with a bit of heat, you might be doing to the hair what hot oil does to egg proteins in a pan. It makes them stiff (egg whites) with crispy edges which might taste great as a fried egg. In hair, though, it hardens the strand, crisps the ends (splits them), and breaks them. Keep using them and you’ll end up with dry, thin, broken hair!

With advances in science, new extraction methods have been employed to pull just the “essence” of the oils. These smaller versions are rare, expensive, and not a common ingredient for mass market and salon products. These smaller versions of oils are the most beneficial to the scalp and hair growth bulb in keeping flexibility and pliability.

2. A Blood Circulation Stimulator That Is Hypo-allergenic: It’s beneficial to use a topical and transdermal blood stimulator that makes the blood rush to the follicles to deliver a few extra loads of hair building blocks. Not all stimulators are suitable. Some use capsicum (red pepper), limonene (citrus peel oils), Isopropyl Alcohol (medicinal rubbing alcohol), or linalool (umbrella term for terpene alcohol extracts, some as harsh as turpentine), and a host of volatile active oils.

These could be considered safe for most when used responsibly, but for those with sensitivities, your skin could react badly. At Belegenza, we’ve added a bit of a natural stimulator, menthol. Very few are allergic to it. As well, we add just a bit to get the job done.

3. Emulsifiers That Keep the Follicles Moisturized Without Clogging the Follicle: Each day as you struggle to keep each and every hair on your head happy, alive, and well, the chemicals that are hidden in those supposedly helpful products are terrorizing the acid mantel and sebaceous glands. As your scalp senses the terror from the chemically-laden hair products, it signals your sebaceous glands to help balance the acid mantle. The glands go into hyper-mode squirting out sebum and this is why your hair may look good in the morning, but by afternoon it looks like a hot mess. Though the BEST hair growth oil is natural sebum, created by sebaceous glands, if there is too much, it’s not good. On the other hand, if there is not enough, a very small amount of the smaller molecular weight oils are a must.

Fine hair? Tinted? Indescribable damage?  If you have found yourself on the “TRY ANYTHING” wheel, it may be that silicone and synthetic products just can’t quite cover up the damage that has accumulated coupled with hormonal influences on the hair’s natural processes.   As Belegenza begins to purify your hair from these slick cover-ups, the true damage may be revealed and for the first few applications, your hair may tangle, feel dry or more brittle.  This is temporary, as the micro-conditioning agents make their way INTO the damage sites.  Keep going.  It’s temporary, and you’ll be glad you did! Not only that, we’re here to assist you through the process.  You can always start the conversation with “Alan-bot” who should have already popped up to help! Success Stories

I just started using Encore after my last perm and coloring. In the past, it would take some time for my hair to recover and have the type of texture I liked. But Encore worked immediately to increase the smoothness and overall health of my hair, starting immediately following the treatment. My hair is in the best shape now that it’s ever been.

I discovered your product by researching hair products for salt-&-pepper very dry hair. After reading the rave reviews, I concluded they must be fabricated because they were so glowing. But, being desperate to find an effective product, I took a chance and ordered the travel size of the Illustrious 1 shampoo and Romance 2 conditioner. After only a couple of uses, my hair was transformed from it’s dull, dry, straw-like texture to it’s former bounce and shine. Truly amazing. I loved it so much I ordered the full sizes and added the SpotLite Shine. LOVED those so much, my next order was for the professional sizes plus the Virginity leave-in conditioner. At the risk of sounding like those other reviews that I thought were fake, I absolutely LOVE these products. Please consider this a thank you note for rescuing my hai
