How did Belegenza come to be the Grow-Hair-Faster Company?
It started on stage when I was teaching from the stages of major manufacturers…
I had scarring from the chemical allergies I had developed by using mainstream brands.
Literally wearing band-aids on my cracked, itchy, bleeding & broken skin, I had to make a choice
the day the camera zoomed in on my hands that were bleeding into my model’s blonde hair longer than I realized one day—-

Yes.. right in front of thousands of hair stylists at one of my Major Manufacturer Live shows!
I could tolerate the pain, but I could not lie about it any more.
How could I represent a company whose products were aggravating an allergic reaction?
I could no longer LIE about their products being safe.
My hands were screaming!
It was the end of my Hair Show Career.
I had a new mission in that very moment.
I HAD to find a safe way to create awesome hair.
I began to isolate what poisons were in our industry.
I realized that using these products 15 times a day were accelerating the effects on my clients.
As I revealed the bigger picture, it was no wonder fellow co-workers were suffering side effects.
I felt responsible for “cleaning up” the very problem I had helped cause.
So, with all that in mind, 24/7, though it seemed impossible, I just kept talking and listening.
After a particularly tough salon day, Cheryl and I ended up in an overeating fest.
While finishing off a carton of Old-Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream, Cheryl and I were chatting about a pharmaceutical cure for my plight (thanks to her background as a pharmaceutical compounding tech).
Her diagnosis was that anything
that would help to heal it, would simply be a temporary cover-up, and
that we needed to address the source of it.
The obvious was to quit hair styling all together, to which we laughed a pathetic, yeah-right-giggle.

As we enjoyed our pizza, it was the official beginning of our research.
