Of course, Cheryl and I are blonde by choice, and I must say, it is easier these days to be a blonde, thanks to my melanocytes for taking it easy! LOL!
This article from BBC News http://www.bbc.com/news/health-35687287 sheds some "grey" light on the matter---(excerpt from article)
"Lead author Dr Kaustubh Adhikari, from University College London, said: "We already know several genes involved in balding and hair colour but this is the first time a gene for greying has been identified in humans, as well as other genes influencing hair shape and density."
We have been working on the whole matter of keeping follicles as healthy as possible, and are thrilled that so many people are reporting hair growth results. Of course, we are not able to make any claims about this, and do not. Nevertheless, as we have been working on the grey situation for many years, it was part of the research that has lead our way to discovering the best ways to keep follicles healthy and pumping out the best hair possible!
Our diet book, is quite a leap! We have finally begun sharing some of our research, and if we may say, the diet is genius! We cannot say exactly what we are pointing at right now, but it is yet another puzzle piece to the hair growth and grey-slowing mystery. So, stay tuned. We can say, however, that we are finding a correlation with foods and drinks that seem to zap the system of nutrition, putting the system on overload, and we think this is certainly what is speeding up the greying and thinning processes in people today. It seems to be happening to younger and younger people, and they think it's just genetics. We think there is more than meets the eye!
So, if you have any concern about thinning and greying, you want to keep in the loop with us, and as we can reveal things, you will be one of the first happy recipients of this information!
As much as we love Starbucks, we cringe every time we hear someone ordering their drinks with a very common additive.... Wouldn't you love to know what it is? Just in case you are going thin (hair) from this popular additive, don't you think you should know?
