“Hi Alan! It has been a while. I hope all is well. I am sure you noticed that I hadn’t ordered in a good while. While I love the priduct, I just couldn’t seem to move it. I had resigned myself to phase it out.
While talking with a rep for another line, he mentioned that their product was aloe based, not water based. I thought to myself “well, Belegenza is aloe based”. It has made me reconsider my decision. I am going to give it another try. I love the product (and you all) so much, I just need to find a way to make others love it too. I will be placing an order soon to replenish my stock.
I was wondering if you have solved the issue with the Spotlight Shine bottles? I had to throw away 3 bottles because they were so sticky. Also, I still am hoping for a professional size Dramatic!
The new website looks nice. Are there any new products in the works? I find that I can’t get great curl when I use the products. I usually use it if I am going to straighten my hair.

Well…
We are certainly going to credit you for the SpotLite Shine, as we are in a repackage problem.  The purity of the oils breaks plastics down into it’s biodegradable phase.  Good for the earth, bad for our shelves… Soon we will have it in glass bottles, preserving the purity of our product!
It seems that we should probably talk more about the odd off-label uses of EnCore Leave In Conditioner, VirgINity Hair Repair, and the Taffy for curls!  In fact, one of the top curly ethnic salons in NYC is my early morning appointment, as they cannot keep enough of the EnCore in stock for their clients and stylists.
DraMatic is NOT in bigger sizes, yet.  We HAVE, though, had to make the biggest batches of it ever, so it’s growing in volume, yet still in the 6 oz size.
Well, let’s put our heads together and see what is needed to have it fly off the shelves like it does for everyone else!
We are working on more videos, publishing more of our celebrity photos and reviews.  AND, by the way, we were picked up in Hollywood by the Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Guild for their awards show this past month!
Enough bragging….
L.S., thank you so much for reaching out!   I know we are not the best at supporting everyone, yet.  We’re desperately interviewing interns and companies who can help us with our marketing and support, so that we can educate, and show the best uses of our small line.
Cheryl and I have the most robust and ambitious plan for this next quarter, and have no idea how to pull it off, yet with people like you, we get soooo motivated!  Thank you for loving the product and loving us as we continue to grow the line!
( I wanted to share this particular interaction, because we have such loyalty, and don’t always share about it.  Some of the comments are downright “mean,” and we get so discouraged, like the salon owner who said, “your product works amazing, but the packaging is SO ugly, we’d never carry it!”  Yet, a month later, the demand was so good, that they in fact DID start carrying the product in the SO UGLY packaging, and later sent me a thank you email for profitability of our line in their salon.  As much as it looks like a glamorous Belegenza world, it’s got enormous challenges, and we keep stepping up and do so because at the end of the day, the products do what we promise, and naturally, too)!
